Everyone knows someone in their life that tells a damn good story. They weave the threads of a tale together like a spider. They know when to make you laugh or bring you to the brink of tears. And at the end, you go away knowing you’re going to remember that random man in the pub and his tale for the rest of your life. Lucky for us, Glasgow is chock-bloody-full of these wildcards.

Wildcard Stories is a storytelling show that brings contemporary and traditional tellers together on stage, each one mined directly from the rich Glasgow scene. Prepare to hear yarns spun so entertainingly that Kev from work’s holiday plans will never satisfy you again. Local performance artists and all-around freaks Bryce Drennan and Frankie Regalia host this quarterly event, proudly presenting you with the best (or most available) of Glasgow’s storytelling talent. Wildcard Stories was started to provide a platform for Glasgow’s unique, character-rich, and nearly always intelligible voice.

We're trying something a little different for this show. Our four storytellers will be creating a fiction city together and weaving stories about this made-up metropolis. Come prepared for the strange, the silly, the funny, and the heartwarming!
