Scotland might have riddy culture, midges, honkin’ weather and absolutely stinkin’ politics around football BUT, Scotland also knows how to throw a party which is why we’re having a Ceilidh and the first ever GYA Lowland games (highland games but sh*te) as well as DJs. We’d usually fill the rest of this paragraph up with nonsense but all the ceilidh themed jokes we could think of were bowfing, minging, boggin, manky, maukit, feich, howlin, clatty and/or rank so we didn’t bother
Remember Scotland and Scottish(-Irish) culture is for everyone, it doesnae matter if you didn’t grow up watching Dè a-nis? and understanding nothing except the words ’Avril Lavigne’ – there’s not dress code, wear whatever your comfortable in but kilts and formal ceilidh wear are very welcome.
