Cross-genre folk ensemble mother tongues returns to The Rum Shack with a programme honouring their diverse musical origins!

This concert connects our unique musical histories with the landscapes and nature that shaped us as individuals; our lovely Isla has designed some amazing set pieces based on the flora and fauna of each members' homeland, accompanying a concert full of pieces that celebrate our origins. Expect everything from jazz and bossa nova to Scottish reels and Swedish polskas, all infused with mother tongues's unique blend of classical harmony and folk sensibility.
