Formed in Glasgow in 2023 by members from Ireland and England, PVC have quickly become a stand-out on the city’s live circuit. Blending post-punk urgency with sharp rock hooks, their witty lyricism and magnetic stage presence have gained them a loyal local following. The five-piece have released four singles to date and continue to build momentum as one of the city’s most exciting emerging acts.
~~ SLOWLIGHT ~~ Slowlight may have been around for a decade, but the friendship and freedom of the band transfers into their music and is a testament to their longevity. ~~ TELEKINEPHEWS ~~ Glasgow-hailing alt-punks Telekinephews come in hard and fast, whether they’re singing about unity or Buckfast. Their choppy, high energy sound is crammed with rapid-fire vocal hooks and technical mastery. The four-piece have been embedded in Glasgow’s DIY circuit since 2023 and released two single releases last year.
~~ TEOSE ~~ Teose are a four-piece band based in Glasgow. Best described as easy listening with dark undertones, Teose are an underrated gem on the local scene. Since forming in 2019, they’ve built a sound that balances humour and heartache, pairing prominent basslines with fuzzy guitars.
