Expect shoulder shaking selections, hypnotic percussion, and high-energy psychedelic sounds to keep you moving ‘til the witching hour. Summoned by Southside selectors Jamo Kidd and How Bizarre, World of Twist conjures the unexpected alongside feel-good sounds from across the globe. Expect oddities, covers, curveballs, and rare groove vinyl heaters you might just recognise - and catch yourself singing along to (even if you don’t know the words) - spanning the SWANA region, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and beyond: from Bollywood bangers and African Highlife to Brazilian Tropicália, Colombian Cumbia, Tropical Disco, into sounds of the club underground.
