Join us for our first Daydream Nation of 2026!!

Monday 19th January at the Rum Shack – Daydream Nation #10 will feature a mixed lineup of experimental animations and DIY short films from a host of amazing artists, with a debut performance from Southside three piece GGC, and tunes across the evening from Stevie Cossar :)

Daydream Nation #10 is also, sort of, Jamie's birthday special! With the full programme being put together by Jamie this time around, and showcasing animated and moving image works spanning art, illustration, printmaking and a load of music videos old and new from artists such as Holy Fuck, Deerhoof, Moon Panda, Deftones, Snooper....

Artists in the screening will include:  Edwin Rostron, Jamie Temple, Phil Evans, Nicolas Menard, BrainTwins, Andrew Khosravani, Domenica Harrison, Edd Carr, Peter Millard, Hannah Brewerton, Arius Ziaee, Jack Cunningham, Joshua Armitage, and more!

And peppered throughout the screening we will have featured short animated skateboarding clips by Leon Washere :)

We are excited to invite Stevie Cossar to DJ throughout the night, selecting tunes and setting the tone of Daydream Nation #10 xx

And the live performance this time will come from GGC (Jamie and Karo's new band, with Lewis on drums) with visuals from the band. We are super excited for this performance! Expect noisy punk/grunge vibes with moving images taken from Jamie's Daydream Nation prints over the past two years.

Tickets are £6, but no one will be turned away from lack of funds. If you can, please consider making a donation. All profits will got towards future events and paying our artists.

We want our events to be open and welcoming to all, so please be considerate and mindful of those around you. Sadly access is non step free, but we will always do our best to make sure our events are as accessible as possible.

Please be advised that sometimes events can get busy and needs are on a first-come-first-serve basis. There is still standing room for those who come a bit later.
