Moni Jitchell are Glasgow's only "backing track hardcore band", comprised of vocalist and drummer Grant Donaldson and 12-string guitarist David Scott. Both minimalistic and feral, their sound touches upon the brooding lurch of Chat Pile, the punk fury of The HIRS Collective, and the mangled electronics of Melt Banana.
