Doss, the audacious electronic post-punk trio (Sorley Mackay, Brodie Mackay, and Chilton Fawcett) hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, bring a distinctive sound featuring hard-hitting drumbeats, trudging basslines, and tongue-in-cheek lyricis —straightforward and no-frills.

Originally a solo endeavour by Sorley Mackay, Doss emerged from a bedroom studio, using basic equipment to craft galvanizing sounds accompanied by goading, gritty vocals and witty wordplay.

Exploring themes like gentrification, addiction, zero-hours contracts, and generational trauma in Scotland, Doss delivers a robust Scottish cultural identity in their own Glaswegian tongue. Their music, digestible, humorous, and down-to-earth, rapidly gained traction, leading to a fast-growing underground fanbase.

Since 2021, the band have released a series of dynamic singles (Posers, Redundant, Lungs, and the Mullets are Moving in), of which the lyrics are passionately sung back to the band by fans during live shows. Their most recent track "King of the Castle," anticipates the release of their debut EP, "Bootlicker," in spring 2024. Renowned for their energetic live performances, the band has sold out shows in major UK cities (London, Manchester, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow) and graced festivals like Kelburn Garden Party, Fairplay Fest, and Doune the Rabbit Hole. Doss have supported notable acts including billy woods, Sinead O'Brien, DEADLETTER, Spizzenergi, Fat Dog, and Snayx.

Their achievements extend to extensive coverage on media platforms such as BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1, BBC Scotland, and BBC Introducing. Vic Galloway named them one of his 25

Scottish artists to watch in 2022, and The Skinny magazine marked them as one of their 8 Spotlight artists to listen to in 2024.
